Healthy sleep is more important. It is vital to a human's body
and it is going to be essential for the brain to function the
way that it is intended. Other organs in the body also depend
on the amount of sleep that a person gets to function properly.

Not getting enough sleep for any length of time can lead to mood
disturbances. This is going to mean lack of motivation,
decreased attention span, trouble with concentration, low levels
of energy, and fatigue. These are all the signs that a person
is not getting enough sleep for their body and mind to rest and
relax.

Insomnia can have physical and psychological effects. The
consequences of insomnia are not life threatening, however they
are annoying. A person with insomnia will have concentration
and memory problems. This can affect a person's ability to
perform daily tasks at home and at work.

You should also try to limit the amount of television that you
watch. Another idea is to limit the time that you spend on the
computer. These items can literally drain the life out of you.
You will be relaxed and calm when you are sitting in front of
these electronics, however, you will also not feel like moving
around and getting the exercise that is so necessary for a good
nights rest.

A person that is not getting the right amount of sleep that
their body needs may be having trouble with headaches. This is
not uncommon. Not getting enough rest and sleep at night can
make a person wake up with a terrible headache and may even have
stomach problems. They may feel sick to their stomach and also
have flu like symptoms as well.

Insomnia is a leading cause in the United States for decreased
productivity. Each year insomnia will cost the United States
over one billion dollars for the research and the lost work that
is not getting done. This is a serious condition and one that
has to be taken more seriously. There are more and more people
living crazy and hectic lives. They are not allowing themselves
enough time for rest and relaxation and this is leading to more
severe problems for them and for others as well.
