Pharmaceutical drugs are nothing more than mere poison! Wow that is quite a statement huh? Well consider the facts; 106,000 people die every year due to prescription drugs. Dr. William M. Lee of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas said “Prescription, and over the counter drugs cause about 55 percent of the liver failure cases evaluated at liver transplant centers” He also stated that pharmaceutical drugs cause many of the less serious cases of liver problems, that go un-reported.

Acetaminophen, the ingredient in Tylenol and many other products used for pain and fever, each year causes acute liver failure in nearly 800 people. The liver is particularly vulnerable to drugs because one of its functions is to break down or metabolize chemicals that are not water soluble. Most drugs fit that description. The liver has a machinery of enzymes that converts drugs into more water-soluble forms that can then be excreted," Dr. Kaplowitz said. But, he added, sometimes the breakdown products are toxic to liver cells The liver can also be injured by taking two or more drugs that interact poorly. The drugs may compete for the same enzyme.

The bottom line is doctors prescribe one poison to counteract another poison. Drugs prescribed by doctors are supposed to help fight infection, cancer, thin the blood, and many other reasons. However drugs only poison the body, just look at the side effects claimed on the labels, and on advertisements. They prescribe a poison (drug) to kill germs, and at the same time as it kills the germs it also poisons us. Does a drug become non-poisonous just because a doctor prescribes it? All forms of drugs have their dangerous side effects. Some drugs are so dangerous that you have to have your blood monitored. If there were no other way to help the body then it would be worth taking such a dangerous risk. But there are not only other ways, their are much BETTER ways! Are we against doctors? No. Just main stream medical practices that do not work. Bottom line is people want results and relief, especially when their life is in danger. The problem is that virtually all drugs are toxic to some degree, and as Eli Lilly once said, "a drug without side effects is no drug at all". No drug can be pinpointed to affect only the organ it is designed to treat, and most drugs have broad effects and some affect virtually every organ system in the body. (Robert S. Drugs are toxic because they are generally composed of artificial chemical compounds that have been synthesised in the laboratory. (Ruesch, Slaugter of the Innocent, op. cit., pp. 269-270.) In the past, before drugs became big business, nearly all medicines were composed of natural plant-derived ingredients that were far safer than today's drugs. Unfortunately, the drug companies today choose to chemically synthesise the ingredients instead, because they are cheaper to produce and can be patented, giving the companies monopoly rights on their sales.
